Bayside Kids Sports Camps are designed for kids in 1st–5th Grade (Entering First Grade by September 1, 2026) to learn from great coaches, make new friends, stay active, and grow in a positive, encouraging environment.
Whether your child is trying a sport for the first time or already loves the game, these camps are built to help every kid feel included, challenged, and celebrated.

Meet The Coaches
Jake Blackwell
Coach Jake Blackwell is the current Head Basketball Coach at Adventure Christian High School. A former player at Simpson University, Coach Blackwell brings experience coaching at multiple levels of the game. He is passionate about developing student-athletes through leadership, discipline, faith, and teamwork while building a Christ-centered basketball culture.
Tiffany Lathrop
Coach Tiffany Lathrop is the current Varsity Girls Volleyball Coach at Adventure Christian High School. A strong Christian woman and dedicated mother of three daughters, Coach Lathrop brings a relational, encouraging approach that helps her connect deeply with her players. With more than nine years of experience in club and high school volleyball, she is passionate about developing young women both athletically and spiritually while building a competitive, Christ-centered culture.
Deane Surface
Coach Deane Surface is the current Head Varsity Football Coach at Adventure Christian High School. A former collegiate football player at California State University, Sacramento, Coach Surface has also coached at the collegiate level and brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to the program. He is passionate about helping young athletes grow in faith, character, and athletic excellence while leading with integrity and purpose.
Kaylyn Gray
Coach Kaylyn Gray serves as the Cheer Coordinator and Stunt Coach at Adventure Christian School. She brings extensive cheer knowledge and experience while helping athletes grow into confident women of God. Her heart for mentorship, leadership, and faith-based coaching continues to make a lasting impact on the ACS Cheer program.

Sports Camp is open to children entering 1st–5th grade by September 1, 2026. Volleyball is available for campers entering 3rd–5th grade during Week 3.

Sports Camp takes place over three separate weeks:

Yes. Campers will have scheduled water and rest breaks throughout the morning.
