What is Breakaway Classic?
At Breakaway Classic, children from 4 years (as of 01/01/25) through 6th grade will enjoy singing, dancing, story time, small group, art & recreation at our Granite Bay Campus.
What is campers age for Breakaway Summer Camps?
Our camp is for 4 year olds (must be 4 by 01/01/25) through kids entering 6th grade in the fall 2025.
Mistake on my registration?
Select the wrong session? Wrong grade? Wrong child? Please email us at breakaway@baysideonline.com and we will make that change for you. If you enter a new registration you will be charged another registration fee and that registration fee is NON-REFUNDABLE.
When should I arrive?
Arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of camp. Children must be signed in and cannot be dropped off at the curb.
Where do I pick up my child?
Pick up and drop off will be at your child’s small group tent. You will need to first check your child in and receive a wristband. Children may be in closing rally when you arrive. Please wait for your child to get back to his tent so you may sign him out. Children must be signed in AND out.
Can I pick up my friend’s kids?
Every parent will receive a parent pick up wristband at check in with a unique security code. You can have a picture of your child’s unique security code or present the wristband to check out a camper.
Can my child with special needs come?
Absolutely! We offer special needs buddies for campers 4 years old through 6th grade at our Breakaway Classic. Just designate your child’s extra needs on the registration form, fill out our special needs form under the special needs tab, and our Special Needs Leader will contact you and match your child with a buddy.
Can I volunteer?
Please do! 7th graders (entering 7th grade in the fall) through adults are welcome to fill out the volunteer link on the registration form. Live Scan fingerprinting is required in order to serve in any capacity at our Breakaway camps for adults 18+.
I want to volunteer, do you have something for my little one?
We sure do! We have Bayside Kids available for volunteers with kids 2 months - 3 years old. The cost is Free until May 1st. After which the price is $35 per child, and they get a little camp made just for them. Bayside Kids is only for volunteers serving at Breakaway. You will need to register them for the session you are serving at.
Why do you charge for Jr High volunteers?
This is a “Leader in Training” volunteer spot – Our Jr High team comes alongside the 7th and 8th graders to disciple and pour into each of the students. It’s a growing year since kids are transitioning from campers to volunteers. We have separate devos for our 7th and 8th grader, they are given challenges in which they can win gift card if recognized by another leader. We do a Jr High Rec day, where we feed all the Jr Higher’s lunch and they get to play on our recreation field. This is not just a volunteer position, we try our best to start our Jr High volunteers off on the best possible foot so that serving can be a success for them.

Do you offer scholarships?
Scholarships will be for our classic camp PM session only. They will close May 15th, 2025. We welcome you to apply!
