  1. Musical Theatre:  

  • Christian Youth Theater (CYT) is the largest after-school theater arts training program in the nation. They offer amazing classes across the country in drama, music, dance, technical theater, and lots more throughout the year and this summer, will be at Bayside! 

  • Get a taste of theatre and enjoy rotations through some of CYT’s most popular classes like Hamilton Hip-Hop, Disney Sings!, Fake Fighting/Real Drama as well as character-based lessons and “theatre-things” and learn what CYT is all about.

  1. Dance: 

  • DNA Dance Collective is a boutique dance studio concentrated on providing a competitive edge for students who wish to grow their fundamental technique or for those pursuing the next step in the dance industry 

  • Your child will have a chance to learn three different styles of dance: Hip-hop, Jazz and Contemporary. Train your novice through advanced dancers with the national championship studio staff from DNA!

ADVENTURE BEYOND FAQ’S

What time does programming begin?

  • 12-1pm Lunch/Break time after Breakaway 

  • 1-4pm. All classes begin 

How will my child get to his/her class? 

  • All kids will be dropped off in one location after Breakaway Camp where they will meet their track teachers. Pickup for all kids will be in one area (location will be sent via email) 

What if I want my child wants to bring his/her own food? 

  • If due to allergies, kids can bring their own lunch. It must be stored in a lunch bag, clearly labeled with child’s first and last name and grade and notify us prior to camp. PLEASE NO PEANUT PRODUCTS.

What if I can't pick my child up until 5pm?  

  • Our program runs until 4pm. We can recommend babysitters who you can contact for fees 

My child wants to change to another activity, can they change? 

  • Due to capacity limits and needing to prepare the materials, we cannot accommodate camp changes.  

Can my 1st grader and 5th grader be together? 

  • Depending on the camp, the age/grade levels are put together.

What time does camp start and end? 

  • 12 - 4pm 

Who is taking care of the kids? 

  • The Camp vendors teachers 

Can I volunteer to help? 

  • Absolutely. Please reach out to kids.adventure@baysideonline.com 

How much does it cost? 

  • $130 includes lunch 

Can my child just do two day, how much would that cost? 

  • Due to working with outside vendors, we are paying per week. So yes they can come for 2 days but it will be for a week cost at this time 

Are the people background checked? 

  • Yes. All adult 18+ will be background checked through Bayside.
